Health and safety accreditations
Health and safety in the workplace is of paramount importance to the entire Heidelberg Materials Agecroft team.
We take our health and safety responsibilities extremely seriously, in order to protect our staff, customers and the public from any risk that may arise as a result of our operations.
As a result, we regularly review our health and safety policies and strive to action new and improved processes. This helps the team to constantly keep abreast of the requirements of this ever-changing, demanding industry.
We hold frequent health and safety meetings to review current policies, make improvements where necessary and carry out training where required. This goes as far as ensuring our staff wear the correct safety equipment and can lift and handle goods in a correct and safe manner.
We recognise that under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, the company has a legal duty to ensure, so far as is reasonably practical, the health, safety and welfare of all our employees, all members of the public and all users of our premises – and we are committed to fulfilling this duty.
Our organisation invests a considerable amount of time and resources in our staff, training and equipment to ensure every aspect of Heidelberg Materials Agecroft is up to date with current regulations. We do our best to not just meet, but exceed, industry standards and believe our exemplary health and safety record is testament to this commitment.
